Wow, I am AWFUL lately about writing blogs! It is really hard being a mom to remember to do little things like this. Yes, I know, I shouldn’t blame the baby for everything. Isn’t that the right of a woman though, always able to blame things on someone or something else?? I was talking with girlfriends the other day about this, and we came up with a great plan for placing blame as women, well all of us really. We all place blame on someone or something else alot of the time, rather than taking responsibility for our actions!
1) As children/teens, we blame it on our parents, our teachers, friends, “frienemies” etc. . .
2) Before we are married, you can blame your actions on “almost that time of the month” whether you just had it, or it is now, or 2 weeks away! it is always “almost that time of the month” for a lady! Men can blame it on the lady for BEING in that time of the month!
3) When you are still not married, but dating, you can blame it on “that guy”, because we are ALWAYS trying to figure “that guy” out and it is stressful! AM I RIGHT!? (and ladies, it doesn’t get any easier to figure them out once your married either, haha) Same with men, they say they can’t figure us out.
4) When you are engaged, well you know, you can be “bridezilla” and blame it on wedding stresses and the groom blames it on the bride for being a bridezilla
5) When you get married you blame it on your husband/wife. He/She just doesn’t “get it”. He/She doesn’t help me enough, and the list could go on. . .
6) When you become pregnant, we blame it on that, the hormones, men can blame it on the wife for driving him crazy with those hormones
7) When we have a baby, we blame it on the baby, blame it on not enough time
8 ) As they grow, we continue to blame it on the child, as they enter each new stage. Example “I am stressed today, we are going through the terrible 2’s (or 3’s or 4’s, or teenage years) “We are pottytraining billy, wow thats a challenge” etc. . .
9) When they are in college you blame it on that because you are stressed you don’t have enough money anymore, not to mention you haven’t ever since the baby arrived 
Man, kids manage to take your money even IN utero! hehehe
10) When they are engaged, you blame it on THEIR wedding planning. . .
11) Then of course, comes menopause, and again, the hormones, men blame their wife for being “crazy” and the wives blame the hormones
12) Then comes old age, you can blame it on the fact that “your mind ain’t what it used to be”
13) Then comes OLDER age and you can blame it on the fact that your mind REALLY ain’t what it used to be
14) Then comes. . .well you know what happens next, yikes.
Now what? What can we blame something on now? When our heavenly Father asks us WHY should He let us into the kingdom of heaven, what are we going to say? When He asks if we lived for Him, what will we say? If we didn’t, will we try and blame it, yet again, on something else? It won’t work. But you know what? Even though we go through our lives blaming things on others or situations, Christ STILL loves us and would NEVER BLAME us. He loves us unconditionally. We don’t have to try and explain things away or give excuses or place blame. We only have to do one thing. Accept him. Accept salvation. Seek forgiveness for all those times we do wrong and don’t take responsibility. And guess what? He will forgive you! He doesn’t care about your past. He doesn’t care if you are single, married, sane, crazy, hormonal, pregnant, a new mom, a tired mom, menopausal, husband of a menopausal women. You name it, he loves you. Whatever stage of life you are in, even if you are in that last stage, the OLDER stage. . .Christ still wants you! He still loves you and desires a relationship with you! So, when you come to the last stage of life and are running out of people and things to blame life stuff on, turn to him. Better yet, turn to him now!
