Ok, so this will be a random post full of all differant things.
1) thanksgiving went well and Katie slept GREAT. Now that we are home she has woken up in the middle of the night again, HOWEVER, her arm is coming out of the swaddle. At my moms, she was in this huge bassinet part of a pack n play, so we think she couldn’t squirm as much to get out of the swaddle. Perhaps we should try nighttime sleep without it?? EEK it could be ugly for the first couple of nights. . .But hey, i would wake up too if my arm was all squished in a weird position!
2) She ATE great. . .AFTER she poope last week. Got a little stopped up, think she is again. Took her FOREVER to eat again this morning, she was fussy and ate 1/2 ounce less than normal. PRAY SHE POOPS and that she doesn’t start getting constipated all the time, poor kiddo.
3) We visited Church of the Highlands yesterday, it was fun. Katie didn’t sleep in the nursery. She didn’t have her pacie in though when we picked her up, that was impressive. BUT, I don’t think they really followed what we said to do. . .oh well. Sometimes she wakes up after the first sleep cycle, you give her the pacie and she goes back to sleep. They got her out and changed her diaper, so ya, she didn’t go back to sleep after that. The nursery was also right up next to the worship center wall. . .weird. . .loud rocking music? no wonder none of the babies were sleeping 
but overall, cool setup, cool music, gives us some neat stuff to think about!
4) GOD IS GOOD! oh i am so excited about what the new year will bring
5) Some days i am STILL overwhelmed with being a mother and feel like god doesn’t hear me, but thanks to the Highlands message yesterday i was reminded god ALWAYS hears us, sometimes we just have to WAIT. Yes, an AWFUL 4 letter word it is, but god always has a greater purpose for those times.
