Saturday
Today is saturday. Currently, Andrew is making us a wonderful breakfast of pancakes and turkey sausage links (hey, turkey sausage is WAY good, don’t knock it till ya try it!). He is so sweet to me. I love having breakfast with him on Saturday mornings. I like it because right now, Saturday is Andrew’s day to catch up on things other than work. He is working on an outside project, church planting stuff AND Journey church small group stuff. I am so proud of him! He is doing so much and STILL manages to be fun to hang out with, seems relaxed and he always sets aside uninterrupted time for me, which I appreciate very much. If you are married and currently feel like you are juggling a lot of things, I suggest making time for your spouse (even if it is only one full night or a dinner date every week). It is important to make sure they feel like they are still first in your life here on earth. Our lives get busy sometimes, and sometimes we tend to push out those we love. Focus can be a good thing, but when it turns into obsession on something that is not meant to take up all our time, it becomes a problem. I look forward to our time together. Heck, I even enjoy Saturdays, because lately, Andrew has worked on things in the living room. Even though he is working, I still feel like we are enjoying the weekend together because we are in the same room. So, there ya go. There are a few ideas that have worked well for Andrew and me. If you are running around like a chicken with your head cut off, use some of these simple ideas. It will make a big difference for those you love!
Verses for husbands / wives God Bless and enjoy time with your spouse!
