Ok, so I am guessing some of you at least, saw my post yesterday about how my blog decided to go psycho on me! It was so sad people, I thought I had lost several of my blogs. . .until Andrew reminded me that I have them imported as notes into Facebook! YAY for facebook. So, it appears I woke up really early this morning and franctically blogged like 10 entries. However, that is not the case. They were just M.I.A and I copied and pasted them back into my blog. ARRRR technology sometimes, I just want to. . .oh well, it was partially my fault things got messed up to. Yes, there was a glitch in the server, which they e-mailed me to inform me the fixed, BUT stupid me tried to fix it myself and THAT is when the problems started. . .well its “fixed” now, and I only lost the blog I wrote yesterday, which unfortunately, was quite a little longer, but you can’t win them all can ya? I will just give a condensed version. . .
Ok, so this past weekend, which yes, I know was several days ago now, was absolutely wonderful. Andrew and I probably had one of the best weekends together we have had in a long time. We played “Sorry” on Friday night, he kicked my butt, so we had a re-match Saturday, in which I kicked HIS butt! We slept in Saturday then shared breakfast at IHOP, which was soooo good. I had my workout buddy, Jenny, over several days last week which was tons of fun too! She came over Monday and told me how much she enjoys hanging out with me and that I am encouraging to her. That was a blessing to hear, but I told her in response how she is one to me as well. I Love you Jenny!!!!
Then, Monday night I got together with another friend, Jennifer, to show her some “moves” I choreographed for her kids and their Christmas songs. She loved them, so yay and it was soooo much fun. I love choreographing! We then went to dinner together and had a great time too. I have also still been meeting with my friend, Allison, a newly wed, and have just been mentouring and discipling her. However, we still both end up encouraging each other quite often, its great! God has really been blessing me lately with godly sisters in Christ for friends. It is wonderful to have friends you can encourage, who encourage you, who love you for who you are, help you, hold you accountable, and yes, even call you out on things in love (which has actually already happened some). I know they are doing it out of love, and they know when I do it to them, its out of love. So it actually strengthens the friendship. You really need godly people in your life to be that for you. It is wonderful to have people we know who truly need Jesus as their Savior and Lord, we are supposed to. However, the closest friends we have really do need to be ones that we can count on to be there for us, support us, be our accountability and make sure that Jesus is always shining bright in our lives. I am so amazed that God has given me these friendships! YAY GOD! He is so awesome, people!
