Well people. . .today was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME at Journey!!! JourneyKidz had a record high number of kids today! We had 15!!! I was totally amazed. God is so good. It was also our baptism service today and we baptized 2 of our JourneyKidz kiddos! That was truly exciting. How wonderful it was to welcome them into the family of God. They are now sisters in Christ, yay! God ROCKS! Not only did we baptize 2 of our kiddos, but adults as well! In fact we baptized three people from the same family! How cool is that! You could see the peace from Jesus in their eyes. Their smiles were so big, their eyes were even smiling just as big and they couldn’t stop! That is what happens when you accept Jesus Christ into your life. He comes in and does a makeover of your heart. He fills you with peace, love, and joy you cannot not even imagine, and BOY was that apparant in their lives today! We baptized a total of 7 people! Wow, if that isn’t a breakthrough we have been praying for over this past week, I am not sure what is! 15 kids in JourneyKidz, 7 baptisms and a worship service that I hear rocked the house today. I am just in awe of our God. We are so blessed to have a God who loves us that much, always loves us and will continue to love us and pour His blessings out on us. Today was a bigger blessing than we could have even imagined. But, you know what? God does that! We can picture even the best outcome we can think of and God will always out do us when we allow Him to take control!!! Anyways, I am sorry if this blog entry is a little “babbly”, I am just so very excited about what happened at Journey today. . .that and the fact I got NO sleep last night. Well, maybe with all the 5-10 incriments I KIND OF slept, I may have gotten about an hour! YIKES! Oh well, that just made JourneyKidz all the more fun today strong>After church was awesome too. We went out to our favorite Mexican place with our small group. We had an amazing time of fun and fellowship. We also got to know a little more about each other in a relaxed and fun environment. Anyways, I am just blessed beyond measure today. This is probably one of the greatest weekends I have had in along time! My husband and I spent yesterday working together in the yard, then watched some movies and had dessert together. I so appreciate him, the yard is looking GREAT! And guess what!? Tomorrow will be awesome too. . .it will be our 2 year anniversary! I still wake up each and every morning in complete amazment God sent me a husband as wonderful and loving as Andrew. I have had a wonderful 2 years with him thus far. I am so excited for the years ahead of us and taking the journey with him as God leades us in the next stage of our lives.
