Hey guys! Well, it’s the start of another week! Andrew and I could use your prayers this week. I am looking forward to this week as a couple, because we will spending alot of time together in prayer and discussion. Through this, we will learn what the Lord has for our future lives together, as we have already begun discussing things that may potentially take us in a differant direction. Please be praying along with us that the we will clearly hear the Lord’s call and guidance throughout this week together as a couple!
On another note, Journey was great yesterday. To help relieve the other children’s director from taking my place while Andrew and me were on vacation, I had the kids to myself! To my surprise, things ran really smoothly and the kids had a great time! There was one adorable little boy who watched with wide eyes and listened with an open heart! He got into the motions, the games, the small group time and loved the Bible story. So that was an encouragement to me and a blessing to my heart. He and his father had actually visited Journey back when we were in the first location, and came back! When the dad asked him how he liked it and if he wanted to come back, he told his dad with excitement, I had fun and yes, I want to come back! Almost shouted it
So that was neat. The Lord used Journey yesterday to reach out to that family and it was so cool. I just love kids, especially when they REALLY get into the lesson, it is so precious and it so much exhibits the child like faith that we, as adults, should still have!
Andrew and I are still loving working side by side in ministry together. The Lord is continuing to grow us together and mold our hearts in ways I cannot even begin to grasp right now. . .but I truly sense He is doing something big. For that, I am truly greatful. I did not think Andrew and I could love each other more, or have more fun together in our marriage than we were already so blessed to have, but through working together in ministry and having share time about what God is doing in our lives, we have! Let me tell you what folks, I truly understand why the Bible is SO VERY clear about not being yolked together with an unbeliever! Our marriage is so wonderful, sure we have grumpy moments, ups and downs, but you see, we have the one bond that can NEVER sever and that is the bond of Jesus Christ. Through Him, our marriage has blossomed and through Him it will continue to grow. If you cannot talk about what God is doing in your life with a person you are dating or seriously thinking about marrying, you truly need to re-think that relationship. If you are already married and you feel you cannot do that, pray! The Lord can do anything! Also, when you begin praying for your spouse it opens up amazing doors for the Lord to use you as a witness in that persons life. With all that said, have a great and blessed week!
