Hey folks. I just wanted to share a little of what is on my heart concerning Journey Church, so I felt lead to share my prayer with you today. . .remember guys, pray! Pray for Journey, pray for the Lord to do a miracle through it and pray pray pray for the disconnected to be reached and the lost to be found. . .in HIS name and for HIS glory
Lord, give us at Journey Church, ideas to create a “buzz” in the community. We DO want to see the church grow, we DO want to reach the disconnected, help us, help it happen, Lord. We can do it through You and ONLY through You. We know we have to believe You WILL fullfill these prayers and expect them! If we are praying without expectancy, how can we expect it to happen? Those prayers are meaningless! Help us to believe, help us have faith, even when we get discouraged, which we do so many times; if we think things are not going as WE want or how fast WE want. Help us trust You Lord and YOUR timing. Also, help us be willing to step out in faith, and outside the “box”, and do what is required of us to build YOUR church. It is not about us, or even Journey Church, but about You, Jesus, and only about You. We truly desire for many to come to a personal relationship with You. Be with us and guide us. Lead us in what to do. Give us opportunities and the courage to take them. Bring the disconnected Lord, in a way we know is only because of You!
Thanks for taking the time to see what is on my heart. I have faith and expectancy for what the Lord has in store for Journey Church. I know things get discouraging at times, but brothers and sisters, don’t lose heart! Keep focused on the prize, on the goal! Are you praying with expectancy or are you praying with doubt? I pray that we all remember to pray with expectancy. Even when we have doubts, pray the Lord will increase your faith. . .even faith the size of a mustard seed. . .
